Personal Work

Start and end of the year :

Notre Dame :

Oil paintings of the Notre Dame construction site, designed to convey the hope that this collective work inspires and the link between the past and the future, between ancient skills and modern techniques, between the weight of stone and the lightness of steel (see the article).

Art and the five senses :

Oil paintings created to accompany a text evoking the fact that the arts engage our senses and can bring us closer to nature. (see the article).

The port of Brest :

Oil paintings created to evoke the Brest port development project on which I worked as an engineer. Major works were carried out to accommodate new activities, such as the construction of offshore wind turbine foundations, which can be seen on the barge on the right.

My years abroad :

Oil paintings created to illustrate my international journey. Each painting evokes a place where I spent a year : the mosque for my final year of study in Singapore, the church for my first year working in Saint Petersburg, the UNHCR tent for a year with an NGO in Chad, and the colourful adobe houses for a second year with an NGO in Ica, Peru.

My Brittany :

Oil paintings created to evoke two places I love in Brittany. The Pointe de Trévignon, where I grew up, and where there is a very pretty little lighthouse. And the Vilaine, in Rennes, where I currently live. Brittany’s coastline, sea and rocks; and inland Brittany, with its rivers and forests.

Japan and martial arts :

Oil paintings created to express my practice of two Japanese martial arts, iaido and aikido. Two practices that encourage concentration and calm, but also connection and bonding with others.(read the article : Connexion aux autres et aïkido)

Celebrate your successes, share them and remember them

I paint to order for your special occasions, your achievements, your constructions, your products, your equipment, your premises and more, so that you can celebrate your successes.

Are you organising an inauguration ? A ground-breaking ceremony ? Opening new offices ? A new service line ?

Offer art to your investors and public supporters to create a highlight during your event.

Have you just signed a major contract ? Have you won a tender ? Has a major account been added to your portfolio ?

Give your customers the gift of art for a top-of-the-range customer relationship.

Are you completing a financial closing ? Completing a major project ? Do you want to highlight a career move ? Is your company celebrating an anniversary?

Give your employees the gift of art to mark the occasion internally.

I paint your commission in oil, on canvas, from a photo. Then I digitise it in very high definition and arrange for it to be printed by a printer who specialises in reproducing works of art.

For your special guests, the art print format allows you to offer very high quality reproductions. For your visitors, the postcard format allows as many people as possible to take home a souvenir. For you and your employees, the original painting will preserve the memory of the moment on your walls.

Once digitised, the images can also be used as illustrations on your communication media.

I paint “alla prima”, i.e. with no drying time between coats of paint. Your order can be completed in a week if required. I can then digitise the painting while it’s still fresh, eliminating the final drying stage for reproductions. I can therefore offer you fast production times, adapted to urgent orders for events. The original, on its side, takes 2 to 3 months to dry.

NB : Art prints are museum-quality prints. They are produced using very high-resolution printers and a wide range of colours, enabling the works to be reproduced very faithfully. The inks and paper used are special, giving the print a very long life.
